Chaya is the creative force behind her brand of handcrafted fine jewelry. Chaya has always had a love of art and began her journey into jewelry design at the young age of 16.
Chaya received a BFA in Jewelry and Metalsmithing from Maine College of Art in 1999, completed 2 1/2 years of Business Education at University of Southern Maine and studied under 3 master goldsmiths. She is trained in advanced stone settings such as prong, bezel, channel, flush, pave and micro pave. In 2019 she began to advance her skills in hand engraving.
Chaya has been a full-time custom jewelry designer since 2008 and continues to advance her skills through technical and creative programs.

Chaya Studio Jewelry is Maine’s only master jeweler and creative designer focused on celebrating love through ethically sourced jewelry.
The artisan fine jewelry brand is based in Biddeford, Maine. Chaya is founder, designer and maker. Her focus is to capture the natural world using a sustainable palette of recycle precious metals, reclaimed diamonds and traceable from mine to market colored stones. Her feminine, organic & tactile designs are handmade using ancient techniques w/a modern sensibility.
